I don’t know why, but I am still surprised by the spit, mist, and rain we get here every day. Today, it is mostly a fine mist like you get at the Zoo. What is weird is that it is hot and sunny outside, and yet the mist keeps falling like a fine rain. It feels good on a day like today, so I have ventured out a couple of times just to cool off. No wonder that no one here has a clothesline outside. With 100% humidity and precipitation nearly every day, nothing would ever get dry out there.
Kaz took the picture above today. We got the guard at the school to let us in so we could use the internet service there, which by the way was installed by, and is maintained by, Swarthmore College. The picture shows the roof of the building where the Preschool and Kindergarten meet. I hope you can see how it is sunny, but raining. The roof of the building is all wet.
