Buying bananas and Raking

Milton has the kids plant trees, identify plants, tend to the many campus gardens, and even rake the grass after it is cut. These boys spent part of the time raking and part of the time pretending the rakes were guitars. They got the job done, though.

The scene below really cracked me up. I ran into these two students buying bananas at the local market. They just told the storekeeper to add the charges to their families' accounts. Can you say "Small town in the 1940's?"
